AROMA ESSENTIALS SKIN BUTTER WITH SOYA REVIEW

aroma essentials skin butter with soya (1)

Dry skin occurs when skin doesn’t retain sufficient moisture. This can happen as a result of frequent bathing, use of harsh soaps, aging, or certain medical conditions. And for those in colder climates, it can stem from cold, dry winter air. Also if you tend to spend most of your time in AC rooms, your skin/ hair can get extremely dry.

I have had severe dry and sensitive skin until a few months back, and i was honestly quite tired of the heavy creams with greasy feel. The problem with dry skin is finding a moisturizer that is effective yet gentle enough to not clog your pores. Else you could start breaking out.

As you all already know i have been loving Aroma Essentials products quite a lot now a days. And being her regular customer, Madhurima was kind enough to send me the Aroma Essentials Skin Butter with Soya and Skin butter without soya as PR Samples.

So today i am going to be reviewing the Skin Butter with Soya for you all 🙂

Ingredients : Soy Lecithin, Vegetable Glycerine, Shea Butter, Mango Butter, Ylang Ylang Oil, Grapefruit Oil

Price : Rs. 250/-

Shelf Life : 6 months

My Experience with the Aroma Essentials Skin Butter with Soya :

So the Aroma Essentials Skin butter with soya is off white in color and is extremely soft and creamy. I like to use it during night time as it doesn’t contain much SPF. The fragrance if this Skin butter with Soya is pretty mild yet relaxing. After i cleanse my face with the Aroma Essentials Rose Face Wash, and after toning it with the Avene Thermal Spray, i scoop out a tiny amount of the Skin Butter with Soya and massage it onto my skin. My skin instantly feels soo hydrated and supple without any greasy feeling. The skin butter is so lightweight that my skin absorbs it. Also since i keep it refrigerated the cream feels so refreshing.

I love how hydrated and soft my skin feels the next morning just like a baby’s bottom 😛

I do not have issue of wrinkles as of now so cannot comment on that aspect. But i love how hydrated my skin feels post use.

When i actually got to know the ingredients i figured out how it was working so well! Madhurima mentioned that the Skin butter with Soya was for deeper hydration and anti ageing. Whereas the Skin butter without Soya had almost similar ingredients minus Soy (as some people are allergic to soy).

Following are the benefits of the ingredients in the Aroma Essentials Skin Butter :

SOY LECITHIN : Soy lecithin is used in skin beauty treatments because it reduces the signs of aging. The Vitamin E with which soy lecithin is formed acts perfectly to slow premature ageing. Dryness is alleviated when taking soy lecithin as it has components which retain skin hydration. It also acts as an antioxidant to prevent the effects of free radicals on the skin. Soy lecithin also helps to stimulate the appearance of collagen in the skin so that the face looks more rejuvenated and bright.

VEGETABLE GLYCERINE : Vegetable glycerin is a natural humectant (a substance used to reduce the loss of moisture). When used with other natural oils and ingredients, it can seal in moisture on the top layer of our skin while the other oils work their way deep into our cells to provide long-lasting moisture.

SHEA BUTTER : Shea butter (Butyrospermun parkii) contains oleic acid which is a saturated fatty acid. It mimics the sebum which is naturally produced by our skin. Shea butter is easily absorbed into the skin and it intensely moisturises and provides relief for dry skin.

MANGO BUTTER : Mango butter (Mangifera indica) is extracted from the mango seed and it has a very faint aroma of mangoes. It contains many vitamins and minerals that help restore damaged skin.

YLANG YLANG OIL : The Ylang Ylang flower (Cananga odorata) is harvested and steam-distilled to extract this heady, sweet smelling floral oil. It is excellent in skin care remedies due to its abilities to soothe irritated skin.

GRAPEFRUIT OIL : Grapefruit Essential Oil (Citrus paradisi) is extracted from the rind of the grapefruit. It has an uplifting citrus aroma. It contains high amounts of Vitamin C and has disinfectant properties.

So now you know being a complete natural and homemade product, i am already in love with this Skin butter. It is great to use on any part of your body. But just be sure to apply a sunscreen / sunblock on top of it if you use it during the day time. If you are unsure of which sunscreen / sunblock to opt for, you can even read my review of the Aroma Essentials Calamine Sunblock HERE.

Until Next Time xoxo,
